My Voice Experience
I work full time as an actor, dividing my time between voiceover, on camera appearances, and stage and film work. I have been acting professionally for over a decade. Training includes a BFA in Acting from Cornish College of the Arts, intensive training in radio documentary from The Salt Institute, and serious commercial voiceover study with the absolute best in the business - Nancy Wolfson of Braintracks Audio. I am also a singer; I perform regularly as an alto with New England's Renaissance Voices.
I left a corporate job as a litigation paralegal several years ago in order to work full time as an actor, and now produce commercials, narrations, and audiobooks for clients all over the world. I also write and consult with clients who want to integrate voice services into their businesses, and I particularly enjoy partnerships with clients who are invested in creatively reaching their markets, especially through podcast development.
Services include:
Audiobooks
e-Learning
Commercials
Podcasting
Audio Tours
etc.

"Talent and professionalism are a wonderful, if rare, combination. When I sought talent to add voice-overs to my company's educational software, Tavia came highly recommended. And it didn't take me long to learn why: she arrived prepared, received instructions well, and delivered a finished product that exceeded my expectations. It was when I looked to her to manage the next round of voice-overs, however, that my appreciation for Tavia grew dramatically. From start to finish, she handled herself, and the project, with the utmost professionalism -- turning a potential logistical challenge for me into a streamlined, efficient, satisfying experience. Tavia is a rare and special combination -- someone for whom I have both gratitude and respect."
- Ogden Morse, Managing Directory, Literary Companion
