Voice Description

My voice is a variety of things. It can go from upbeat and alive, to sullen and soft. Since I was a child, I have been doing impressions. It is generally deep and smooth, but can go into character in a second. I often imitate people and am told that I sound just like the subject. My voice is perfect for narrations and commercials among other things. It is highly versatile.

I do a great English accent. I can sound like a variety of races, from Caucasian to African to West Indian. My sound can change with sounds I hear--for example, if I hear a voice or noise/sound that I like, I can almost instantly imitate it.

My Training

Voice and Diction as well as The Art of Public Speaking classes at New York City College of Technology in Fall of '98 and Spring of '99.

My Studio Equipment

I have a digital recorder on my laptop, as well as a hand-held tape recorder. I have a headphone set with a mic attached, for sound enhancement. My laptop has a built in mic as well. However the demo was recorded using my cell phone.

Additional Skills

I offer a variety of inflections, especially working in customer service, because there are a vast amount of emotions you want to convey depending on the needs and concerns of the customer. I am not acting, but my voice and tones let them know that I am empathetic.
