My Voice Experience

I have just started my career as a vocie over artist and have yet to gain the necessary experience to be included inthis section. I look forward to a long career as a voice over artist and to working with quality professionals.

My Training

I have a BA in literary writing, an MA in Christian school administration, and am currently hard at work on a doctoral degree in educational leadership, postsecondary emphasis. I am a writer and now professional student who has immitated commercials and practically everything I heard while growing up in Queens, NY. I attended a high school in which the drama teacher used improvisation to teach us various acting techniques. Often he would not tell us the role of the other person we were acting with and had to guess along with our peers as to what role they were playing in relation to the role that we were playing. I have written for my college newspaper and published a few poems. Other than that, I have never had any formal training.

Additional Skills

I can pretty much immitate almost anything I hear, but I enjoy making up my own unique voices and bringing amusement to my sister and friends. Whenever we have something to read in class or act out as an exercise, I am frequently called upon to participate in these activities. I often use the skills I have learned as a writer to enhance the texture of my voice to reflect how the character is feeling in one sound or inflection of my voice. I enjoy captivating the audience and emotionally pulling them into the story in order that they may take the journey along with me to develop the character.
