Voice Description
I have been acting in dramas and musicals since my early teens, so I am able to portray any emotion perfectly through use of my vocals. I am able to sing in many different styles, as well as change the style of my speaking voice depending on what is needed of me. My college TV Reporting professor told me I possess a particularly smokey, soothing tone, yet a striking memorable, crystal clear, professional quality. Frustrated with having to write my own news stories before I read them on the air live for Rutgers College Radio, I ultimately decided to leave the station, however, the producer allowed me the opportunity to just read stories others had written based soley on his admiration of my voice.

My Voice Experience
When I was growing up, I used to take my fathers tape recorder around my farm - speaking into it, pretending I was doing live news stories. Interviewing animals, particularly my cats - where I would make up the animals dialoge, and portray their thoughts in a different voice on the tapes. In addition, I have tapes upon tapes of improvs I did at the age of 12, in a completely unrecognizable voice.
As I stated before, I went to Rutgers for TV Reporting, creating many TV news programs where I had to quicky lay down flawless voice over work. Additionally, I worked with the college radio staion reading the evening news, and performing live scripted skits here and there.
My Training
I have always naturally had a very mature, deep sophisticated voice, but 10 years of voice coaching and choir classes helped to improved my sound quality, and control. Strangers used to ask me if I ever did radio, or told me TO do voice overs. When I went on to my TV Reporting classes at Rutgers University in 2004, my journalism professor stopped the class to have them view my work. He is actually the main reason for me realizing my talent.
