My Voice Experience

I am on a website called voiceactingalliance and I auditioned for my first voice over job ever. It was to sing the song "Life is Like a Boat" from the Bleach ending theme. Besides that project, I did a short, five minute presentation about technology and voice acting for my computer literacy class which I narrated and even drew a small animation for it which I also dubbed over. I recorded both projects at home using a Zoom H4 microphone.

My Training

I am currently an Early Childhood Education major and Arizona State University West Campus and am in the middle of switching majors to a Theater major with a concentration in acting. I graduated from Thunderbird High School in 2007 and am currently a freshman at ASU.

I learned about doing voice acting from watching years of cartoons. I first learned about the website voiceactingalliance from a youtube video that I watched. I also learned about voice123.com from another youtube video.

My Studio Equipment

I have a Zoom H4 which is a life saver. This little mic allows me to record my voice onto an SD card which I can then take out of the mic and put right into my computer. This cuts down the time I have to spend with wires and such. This mic comes with a wind blocker so you wont hear any puffs in my pieces. This mic is super sensitive and pics up my voice clear as a bell. In short, I love this mic.

Additional Skills

I have been singing my entire life. However funds are small in my house so individual lessons were never a luxury I could take part in. However, I was in choir all four years and was a member of the elite Vocal Ensemble. I had a total of two solos and a duet as well as participated in the schools musical production of Once Upon a Mattress.
