Voice Description

My voice is my tool to create an enviroment for my listener. I leave very little to the imagination when one hears my voice I set the tone. As a trained public speaker my clear and concise tone is reflective of the topic and capitvating. Telephone voice is sultry and suductive. I have a natural fast tongue so speed talking I can do with ease. I can turn to a jamaican woman or an middle eastern man at the drop of a hat. Good ole great Brittan is not a chore at all but my southern drawl, althouth created seems authentic. I can go from the girl in Beverly Hills to the sister in the hood. I also posess a genuine range that allows me to speak in soprano to tenor with ease. I enjoy being the little old church mother as well. Something to look forward to I guess.

My Voice Experience

I have not had the privilege as of yet to do any voice overs but I have been in numerous plays and had to portait different characters. I guess one I did so well people were amazed after the show to learn I did not speak that way. I also worked in collections where sometimes you had to disguise your voice in order to get the client on the phone to pay. Depending on the region I called dictated the voice I would use. This worked quite often and afforded me many bonus checks.

My Training

I posess a Bachelors Degree in Public Communications, with a specialty in Public Speaking. September 21, 2007 I had an engagement where I addressed the National Black Public Relations Society. I am a trained singer with years of personal coaches and a few semesters of voice and diction. I participated in local community plays as the co lead in many of my roles.

Additional Skills

I am a naturally bubbly person who enojoys entertaining people with my impersonations. I was encouraged once to do voice overs by one of my debtors and recently by a client I was representing. I guess in a way I have always desired to be the person in the lime light but I often enjoy the privacy of behind the scenes. I am trained as a publicist so I know how to increase awareness. I am a well rounded professional who would be an absolute pleasure to work with.
