Voice Description

My voice is unique. I can switch from mood to mood and character to character in the blink of an eye. When I do voice overs, people usually like the warm, sassy quality to my voice. I'm often complimented on sounding very natural and friendly while still doing an excellent job selling the project. My voice can also sound tough as it does when I do video games. Sometimes it's even poetic! When I am a cartoon character, it's usually... a little boy. I love it!

My Voice Experience

I've done many voice overs. Some of my past clients include but not limited to: Southern Edison, Verizon, Chevy and McDonalds. I've also done the voices of a few video games. I'm excellent at imitating other voices and I've allowed my voice when the original person was no longer available. I can't saw what type I love most because it's all fun and I'm thankful for the opportunity to do what I do!

My Training

I was just talking to my agent about this. I was telling her how all those years of taking 20 minutes to leave an outgoing message on my answering machine has paid off!!! LOL! Also, I use to work in the beauty salon and I would imitate all my customers. I entertained them alll day. At the same time, when I answered the phone I had to be very professional. (Preparation for this career.) I also graduated from Spelman college Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in theater. I knew how I wanted to make my living. I'm doing it! I'm thankful! I'm ready!

Another thing that's great about doing voice overs is sometimes I get to use my Southern accent. Other times I get to be Jamaican, then African. It's wonderful! Sometimes, I'm African American, sometimes I just AM. I can be old. I can be young. Sometimes it's over the top. Sometimes it's not. It's fun! I make my living doing voice-overs, tv & film.
