My Voice Experience

I think I felt best about my voice over abilities when I started a morning show in Tallahassee Florida. My role on the show was to be the innocent upbeat young female. I was the only female in the 6 cluster corporation and they needed a sexy voice for a radio commercial to promote a club. They doubted me and didn't think I could do it, but I went in the studio and past the test with flying colors. I proved to my co workers and myself that I can change my voice to fit any character or role.

I can be innocent and upbeat, sexy and fun, or I can be compassionate and informative.

My Training

I was a Broadcast Communications major in college and I was the Program and promotions director for our station. I had to create music beds and promos for the station weekly and gained a lot of experience.

Then I became the voice for many other radio stations in Georgia and Florida. I have experience in televion and radio broadcast journalism as well.

My Studio Equipment

I recently signed up, but I am purchasing either Adobe Audition or Cool Edit Pro

Additional Skills

I understand and know how to use my voice for voice over work not only to please my self but to please the client. I have a lot of experience in sales, marketing, and Public Relations/Advertising and I always want to be creative, but still give the client want they want.
