Voice Description

How do I describe my voice....? Well it depends on the recording. I can sound as melodic and gentle as a stereotypical middle aged housewife to as coarse as Eric Cartman. "Kyle's Mom is a B$%&h" is a popular song for me at Kareoke night.

I have the ability to produce Cockeny, British, Brooklynese, Standard American Southern, and Standard American dialects.

I have a very proffesional and inviting tone for presentations and phone messages, smooth and sultry for commercials or even just plain wierd...for whatever reason where wierd would be appropriate.

My Voice Experience

My most recent recording work was for Antique Marketplace in Lemoyne Pennsylvania for a voice mail greeting. Prior to that I was recruited to record the voicemail greeting, on hold messages, and directory messages for Pennsylvania Fabric Outlet. I have been hired to record short segments of vocals for local bands. I have experience in performing the voice overs for musicals such as Grease. (The drive in movie scene.) My voice has also been used in many a recording arts students projects at Lebanon Valley College.

My primary esperince with the voice is in theater. I have been performing since I was fourteen. Some of my roles include: Meredith Parker from Bat Boy the Musical, Leading Player from Pippin and Angel from The Best Little Whore House in Texas to name a few.

My Training

I have a Bachelor in Music from Lebanon Valley College and an Associates in Theater from Harrisburg Area Community College, both located in Pennsylvania. I studied voice for theater at HACC and my instrument at Lebaon Valley was voice. I was taught to sing everything from light opera to musical theater to rock and roll. My primary course of study at Lebanon Valley was the recording arts. I have the ability and the equipment to record and edit my own voice overs, sound FX, music etc.
