For me, It's not about just doing voice overs. It's about bringing kids, and families together for fun and entertainment. Making people happy. My voice, being the reason why KIds wake up at 6 oclock in the morning on Saturdays. I want to be able to be part of that Cartoon, that brings the kids in from soccar, Because it isn't an episode they have seen yet. I want to be the voice behind why people Laugh! My Voice Experience
It all stared on the Play ground at the Park.
Little Talia was playing in the wood chips behind the slide waiting for little David to come by so she could give him a rock. But this wasn't just any rock. It was an awesome friendship rock. David walked over to the slide, un aware of what would happen, when all of a sudden. Talia Screamed out"AAAAwooooogah!" David started gasping for air. His Bowl hair cut,his mother had given him hours before was fluttering in the summer breez, his blew eyes glistening in the sun light, and his shoe laces were in nots around his ankles." Why did you do that for?" David shouted. Talia walked out from behind the slide with her ling braids hanging at her sides, her once pristine white dress her mother had given her to wear that morning, was all but a memmory, with dirt and woodchips hanging off the bottum of it,and what looked like a posicle stain driping down the front. "I wanted to give you this rock, and ask you to play lava Monster with me, and my sister" Talia replied. David thought for a little bit, looking down at his shoe laces tied around his ankles.
He had not yet learned the art of turning your shoe laces in to bunny ears, and tying them together.
He looked up at Talia, and sighed. " No, I can't. I have to learn how to tie these things"
Talia looked at those shoe laces, and then up again at David. " YOur in fantabulous luck! I happen to be an expert at tying those things. I will teach you,and then you can play with me and my sister" Talia ran over to her Barbie Backpack, and pulled out a book. " How the bunny ties his shoes, It's a great book! this has everything thing you need to know. I'll read it,and you do it, ok?"
David nodded his head in agreement.
"Would you like me to do voices for each animal in the book?Dont answer that. I will. My dad always uses the voices, and so will I!
Talia started carefully examining the shoe laces on David shoes. "These will do for now. Now start lacing"
She read through each step with in the 5 page book, and with each step talia read, David intently fallowed the instructions.
After what seamed like a bazilion years, David had completed his shoe tying, and Talia took it upon her self to pat both of them on the shoulder.
With patience friendship, and some awesome voice overs,
Talia and David went off to play Lava Monster with her sister.
Want to know the moral of the story?
It's the small things in life, that make you who you are, and funny events that make you never want to stop making people laugh.
My voices make people happy, my carasmatic nature make people happy.
My caring and eunique quality of looking at the world are awesome.
I want to share my awesomeness with the world, no matter how vein that may sound.
I think I can do it. I know I can do it.
I just need someone to give me a chance.
I think all people need to be given a chance.
Isn't that what being human is all about? Exceptance?
I say Yes!
I'm a cosmetologist.
It doesn't say much does it?
Ha.you havent ment me yet.
My personality says it all.
YOu don't need a big fancy degree to be successful.
Yes ofcourse it helps.
Why wouldn't it?
I mean thats why we have colleges, to teach us more.
Don't think I'm a simpleton however.
I am doing my bachlores degree in family children services.
I want to do voiceovers to bring family and kids together.
Not for the fame.
I'm not looking to be some huge cilebrity.
I just want to bring happiness to the world.
Just like you.
My Studio Equipment
I could use my boyfreinds friends studio. If he was kind enough to let me use it.
I am a cosmetologist.
No it's not just knowing about hair.
It's about knowing people.
Knowing what the public wants, hearing stories, empathizing with others, being relateable.
Voice over skills work when I read to my boyfreinds nieces,or when I'm reading outloud in general.
I like to add chariter to my reading.
The truth is, when I read out loud, I get all nervous and flustered.
But when I use one of my voice overs,it makes me feel easier.
I see people smile. They get wraped up in what I say. I add a slight bit of entertainment to a mondane day.
