My Voice Experience

While I was teaching English, I was considered to have the most charming voice on campus, and therefore was chosen to be anchorwomen for the Radio English Program on Shanxi Program. I also acted out many Shakespear's characters. I spoke on chicago Land Radio Information, presented as keynote speakers at the White House Conference on Aging Designated Special Aging Evant, and broadcasted news at Western IL University. I have published text books and recorded my own voice on audio tapes to go with the books, which were distributed nationwide in China. Voice for communication best reprents my individual power and strength and the flow my my energy.

My Training

I have a BA and MA both in English, and have photetics and lingusitcs, the mechanism for best intonation, pronunciation and projection of voice. I also have learned singing from professor Yingyi Deng and practised to project my voice in sweet and beautiful ways as needed. I performed on stage as a little girl, and have learned to play accordion and piano. My college course work in literature and art appreciation, and my training through media workshop also helped me to appreciate and utilize my voice gift.

I also have a MA in Gerongology and have learned to speak with seniors in a tone and voice that is appropriate in communicating to the seniors. Additionallhy, I obtained my Diploma in Education from the National University of Singapore, where I refined my knowledge and skills in English phonetics.

Additional Skills

I have translated at national conferences, seminar and prefessional presentaitons. I have also presented at various such conference and seminars. At each reading contests, I often win the first prize. I represent my company to speak to legislators and call the US president's office on issues that concers seniors we serve.
