My Voice Experience

Well, it's like this, I've got lotsa experience. Started my first VO demo when I was embarking on my acting career in New York. A production company that did feature film trailers needed a female voice-over for a porno film trailer. I had to improvise sounds watching the actress gyrate on screen. So, in exchange for a few choice expletives, I got to cut my first VO demo. Heck, ya gotta start somewhere! Then moved back to L.A. where I got my first VO agent. I've worked on VO for many years, mainly commercials, ongoing spokeswoman for Nordstroms, Thriftway Markets, a chain of women's clothing stores etc. For a more extensive list & demo, check my website, tabicooper.com.

My Training

I trained as an actress in New York at Lee Strasberg's Institute, in L.A. with many acting coaches, including Milton Katselas. I've been a member of theatre companys, doing Plays, On-Camera TV & Film. I've worked mainly through VO agents, & have attended
improvisational acting workshops & VO workshops with professional colleagues & an animation workshop.
The best experience is all the voiceover jobs I've done; priceless in learning mic technique & timing. I have my own home VO Studio, working with Pro-Tools & am able to send Voice files. I have ISDN nearby for quick turnaround. I'm SAG/AFTRA & also willing to negotiate.
