I have done stage plays in which I had to take on unique character roles for example I had to play an African king , in the play " Amahl’s Night Visitors" I had to project a strong distinguish man with an African accent and a hearing deficiency.
Both body language and speech had to be complimental to each other to have a realistic affect. I have played an animal character such as “the Lame fox" in "Pinocchio" in which I had to study the moments of a natural fox to portray him in a human fashion, the head nods, eye movements. On one scene, I kick open a door and blast the criminals with my gun. So all these characters were as you could imagine had constrasting voices.
I've song and recorded for years.
And when you sing a song you must tell a story most stories in which I have written
lyrically. And some of my song I have narratives in them, usually I use my deep, smooth voice. As I memtioned I am a stage actor. And I have my own radio broadcast for years locally approximately 4 years.
Being a singer I undertand voice the dynamics of voice projection and delivery.
I also listen to books on audio and observe there delivery.
