Voice Description

I was recently selected as the voice of Trump Plaza Atlantic City. My voice can entice new customers to an exciting casino or comfort the audiences of Discovery Health Channel. I have a warm, conversational quality to my voice and am often hired for female roles in health related projects. My humor stands out in commercial work and can be authoritative yet gentle for corporate videos.
My ability to read cold is excellent and I am a quick study with tehnical scripts. Medical pronunciations are a specialty.

My Voice Experience

I consider myself fortunate that for the last 8 years I have been consistently employed as a voiceover talent. I love my work and find each job as enjoyable as the last. Technical reads, emotional dramas and edgy 30 second spots are all part of my expertise.
I have considerable experience in television, radio, corporate and medical videos and books on tape and audio tours for museums. I have narrated a 26 episode television series for The Discovery Health Channel, a 30,000 term medical pronunciation guide, commercials and videos for major corporations such as Johnson & Johnson, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Sunguard, and Mannington Flooring, books on tape for the Library of Congress and audio tours for the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

My Training

I received my BA in Speech Communications and Theatre from the University of North Carolina/Chapel Hill. Throughout my studies I trained with the finest vocal and acting coaches and performed many different types of characters.
My first major achievement in the voiceover field was being chosen as a narrator for the Library of Congress. It is a highly competitive process and it was an honor to read for such an important institution.
