My Voice Experience

I began my voice career in El Paso, Texas on an overnight shift with KROD...1980 through 1985. I quickly built a rapport with my audience and delighted in impersonating my listeners. Producing commercials on reel-to-reel was my favorite part of the job because I could implement all those impersonations and hear them over and over and over...and get paid for it!

I learned to be much more authoritative in nature when delivering news and hosting talk shows for the community. I expanded on that skill and knowledge when I moved to Sacramento and finally the San Francisco Bay Area to work for Columbia School of Broadcasting.

My narration and character impersonation both went to good use when I worked for HOSCA Entertainment in the mid to late 80's as a voice-talent for their cartoons. I was also allowed to translate much of their material.

I've subsequently worked for many local stations and just finished the voice work for a movie called "War Machine" with Robert Amstler.
