My Voice Experience

I co-hosted a show for HGTV called "Tool Box Challenge" which involved recording the voice over narrative through-line for 26 shows. I have also done various radio commericial spots in all manner of characters...mom, wife, judge, sexy soft sell, etc.

My Training

I have been a professional actor for 16 years. I received my BFA in performing Arts, worked as an apprentice at the Burt Reynold's Institute for Theatre Training, lived and worked in NY & LA and continued to train during all those years.

Some of the workshops I have attended include Elva Mae Hoover's workshop through Equity and I also recently did a cartoon workshop with Debra Toffin & Jessie Thomson, the leading voice over casting agents in Toronto.

Additional Skills

I am a singer and songwriter as well. I have a home studio and have written a musical with my husband, recorded a Christmas CD and am presently working on recording another cd of original work. I also sing with a country/bluegrass/gospel trio called "Dirty Dishes" and will be recording a 5 song demo this Christmas. I'm also a great jingle writer...I have a knack for creativity with words.
