Voice Description

I have had professional voice training since I was 12 years old started copying cartoon characters at a very early age and elderly people in church with british accents it went on to a very wide range my voice can stretch from a character sounding like the chip munks to hagrid in harry potter. I have professional tone, sexy, warm,valley girl, crazy old woman etc.., The model of the year contest in New york city I won first place in the television commercial division, I designed and acted in my own commercial. I am just starting this as a career and wish to flourish in this. I have loved this all of my life. I can do bugs bunny, south park characters, my kids love my reading books I came up with my own voices for each character in harry potter when the movies came out I had depicted exactly what their voices would be like. i can sound warm and friendly, professional clear voice tone. pronounce very clearly I am trained on various tones my acting back ground has allowed me this training.

My Voice Experience

For years I have done this but not professionally except for commercials I had done in the past. But I am perfectly capable of doing anything you can throw at me. I was raised on the stage I grew up in the ashland, oregon area was introduced to shakespear at an early age, the stage was my life, then I was discovered by a talent scout and they went more the avenue of my looks and my voice was set aside. my true love. I am coming back to it now and am looking forward to fulfilling your voice needs as I can do just about any kind of voice you need. I was in the park one day and a little squirl cam up to me I started talking to it in a high pitched squirl like voice it looked at me like it knew what I was saying then 3 other squirls came up and I was talking to them then I looked over my should and there was a group of people silently watching me with their mouths propped open. It was embarassing, but I have a great sense of humor and laughed it off. I have a great fondness for creatures great and small and have designed my own voices for each one also taking into consideration their personalities and situations.

My Training

professional voice training since age 12 I am a coloratera soprano. It started simply as doing plays in high school, sang in select jazz groups and choir, to musicals in college. Dames at sea, madama butterfly etc. I was a music major and theatre minor, dropped out of college to persue a modeling career after a talent scout saw me do a national commercial for Revlon in 1977. I was planning to study voice in Italy, my mistake. Should of followed my first love. It led me to New York, I won the television commercial division in a national contest, abc wanted to screen test me for a soapopera, I just wasn't comfortable living there, I returned to the San Francisco area, continued modeling, traveled to asia modeled there for 3 months, taught self improvement courses and modeling scools, back in bay area talent scount for agencys, trained budding models, I signed up with Brebner advertising agency for commercial and televison work, I later moved to Reno, nevada with a company that ended up folding, got the Peppermill resort account, did all of their bill boards, posters, magazine ads.commercials, spokesperson for talk shows and the like. Since then I have been a black jack dealer in a casino, I don't charge extra for the comedy shows I put on while you're on my game, I missed my calling as a comedian, I have a rubber face, lots of expressions, I am married have 3 teenagers and I want to get back into what I love most and that is my voice I have been give a wonderful gift and I want to use it now.

Additional Skills

I am new to this try me? I am very moral and that was my problem with the modeling and acting I ran into situations that were not my cup of tea, I will not do anything that is immoral, pornogrpahic sound overs, or that are sexual connotations. I do have a sense of humor but prefer to keep it clean.
