Voice Description

I am often complimented on my voice as being either soothing or professional. I appreciate the art of communication and try to convey my words are clearly and articulately as possible. My pitch is an even mode, I suppose. I have received compliments blindly over the phone, or during face-to-face conversation. Doing voice over work is an area I would like to explore, feeling the quality of my voice could be used in a variety of genres--commercials, smooth and professional, presentations (I had, at one time, aspired to be a newsanchor!).

My Voice Experience

I've been using my voice my entire life! And throughout this lifetime, I have been consistently paused and complimented for it. I believe listeners of my voice find it welcoming, assuring and soothing. It's just my voice, and I go along with it and whatever it does. I do keep it on an even keel, aware of how it is projected. If I can find work using what I use naturally, well, that would be a great thing!

My Training

This would be a new endeavor for me. I have studied communications in school and have always had a great appreciation for news anchors and the like, i.e., presenters, etc. I enjoy the opportunity to speak in front of groups (given that I know what I'm talking about!) and have spoken at a few weddings. That's it--for now...
