Voice Description
Initially my voice is playful and teasing but it has a unique quality that can resonate smoothly and command the attention of the audience for formal presentations. I have superb diction and enunciation in North American English. I have enviable Classical Latin pronunciation and can have a good go at various British, Australian, North American dialects i.e. Southern, Appalachia, New England, Mid-West etc. I have an excellent ear for linguistics and the unique ability to mimic exactly the tone and locale of a voice.

My Voice Experience
A well-told story is the cultural fabric of humankind. From our earliest beginnings, we have relied on narrative to keep us connected with our religions, history, customs, and morels. As long as we remain under our net of cultural narrations we feel connect to everyone else in our space and time.
As a professional teacher, writer and story-teller I am constantly amazed at the magic of the human voice in narrative. I witness the spell my voice can weave on an audience as I bring them through various emotions, as I tease, cajole, terrify, humor, perplex, chill, teach, pray, and coax them on a journey from which they do not want to return.
I have taught English language arts, including drama and debate for many years. Most recently, I have taught high school Classical Latin. I am keenly aware of the importance of persuasion in speech. I have written, produced, and directed many plays in the school environment. My ability is remarkable as is my voice. Work in voiceover is simply an outgrowth of all these other experiences.
My Training
I have a B.S. degree in Education with a minor in English studies. I have taken three years of study with a drama coach by the name of Helen Wesley, who afforded me not just her expertise in the use of voice but also in proper decorum in all social circumstances. I have recorded power point presentations, and many stories for the school environment. As a professionally paid storyteller, I am in an on going process of training my voice for the best effect for my listening audience.
