My Voice Experience

I have been working as a full time voice over artist since 1999. Prior to that, I worked as an on air radio personality for 16 years. During that period,I recorded hundreds of commercials for both radio and television including tv promos.

I am a veteren of many national campaigns including The Incredible Edible Egg, Marie Callendar Frozen Foods, Lysol, Fisher Price, Save The Children, Dell, Jif Peanut Butter, Disney, Pepperidge Farm, New York 1 News, New Balance, Time Warner Cable, Sprite, Whammo, Hasbro, GMC, Days Inn, Amstel Lite, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Kohler, Safeguard, Nick Jr., Liberty Travel, The History Channel, Mass Mutual and Lane Bryant, to name a few. I have also recorded for electronic games, children's educational videos, interactive voice recording, voice mail greetings/on hold services, corporate, medical and instructional narrations.

My Training

I have an associates degree in Theatre Arts and have performed in numerous musicals and community theatre. My favorite role was playing Charlotte Corday in Marat Sade! My role as an actress and as an on air personality were perfect stepping stones toward a voice over career. In radio, I learned to be consistantly articulate and able to deliver content in a conversational manner. I also gained experience in public speaking by emceeing several radio station promotions and TV promotions. In theatre, it is vital that you are able to interpret and convincingly take on different roles. Both of these have contributed to my personal success in the voice over business.

In addition to radio and theatre, I have studied with Jerry Prell at The New England Academy of Theatre, with Lonnie Quinn, formerly an actor with All My Children, at the Soap Set in Milford, CT and with Joan Bogden at Voice Overs Unlimited in NYC. I also was an instructor with The New England Academy of Theatre for 12 years teaching an Introduction to Voiceovers course and an Advanced Voiceover course.
