Voice Description

My voice is very expressive with great clarity and enunciation. While I can be very professional for presentations; I can also be upbeat and wacky, if needed. A client described my voice after listening to a demo as "credible, natural and flowing." Another description from a client was "very persuasive in a soft way." I believe my range of emotion is vast and I pride myself in always delivering exactly what my client needs and we have agreed upon.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Some of my experiences include impersonating a cat, an old woman, a drunk, someone very hyper, a person off the wall with enthusiasm, and a totally sarcastic woman. My commercials have included ranges between sultry and sexy to acting like a "dizzy female, and so much more. I have the ability to perform all of the human emotions in a convincing way.

My Voice Experience

To date I have been blessed with many opportunities in radio commercials for Manhire Opticians, Brian's Sandwich Shop and Deli, Highlights Hair Salon, Skylands Travel,and Floor Solutions. I have experience in on-hold phone systems for Biotest Systems, and my most recent accomplishment was for MediSpecialty, Inc. where I did the voice over work for a complicated medical training presentation.

My Training

My first training was truly "on the job" when I was asked to do a local commercial. When the radio station manager asked me if I had training in voice over, he was surprised to learn I had not. I have a natural gift for being a quick read which saves time and money for the client. I received my PROFESSIONAL TRAINING from Voice Coaches, creative voice development group, LLC of New York State. I studied and put in recording time in their Pipersburg, Pa. studio. Other workshops, seminars, and classes have been in communications and marketing for the voice over industry.

Additional Skills

Voice over work comes very naturally for me. I am a "quick study." What I mean by that is that I read the script and typically nail the material in one or two readings. That has been my experience with all of the radio commercials I have done and it was the same for the medical presentation and web training work I have done. Following direction comes easily to me and I strive to deliver exactly what the client is looking for in a project. I truly enjoy this work and find all challenges to date have been mutually rewarding for all parties involved.
