My Voice Experience

I am 'in the zone' in the studio. I have always enjoyed speaking into microphones and in 2006 I found a VoiceOver Beginner's workshop in Calgary, AB, through the Dan WIlmott Group. I learned a lot and through that gained my first VO job, a Mazda commercial! Since then I've voiced for a technical customer service website, on-hold messaging for a data services company, narration for university documentaries and lent my voice to a local filmmaker as a newscaster. I've worked most extensively with Media & Access Production at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Their producer and engineer have remarked several times that I have a very nice voice - warm and pleasant to the ear. And I've received much feedback that I take direction well.
I've MC'd fashion shows, and a Broadway-style musical revue show (it was 4.5 hours long and we had 2 shows in one day...so my voice has endurance).
