My Voice Experience

My voice work started when I was in college. I began in video productions and radio. After college I worked in commercial TV, Public TV, community TV and video production doing narration, production, hosting radio and TV shows.
I also write and record songs. I'm a musician and singer with one CD out that I produced, published and wrote all the songs for. Currently I'm a prolific songwriter currently working on over 30 new original songs.
My voice is as strong and eclectic as my songwriting skills and I boast a large range.
Currently I produce/record my own music, create graphics, web design, desktop publishing, social media, PR, videos, photos, and radio show through my Multi Media Services Business, SunBell Productions.

My Training

I have an AA Degree in Communications, I've worked for 40 years in performing arts, music, communications, media production and journalism. I also did workshops, camps, private lessons and watch documentaries, videos, dvds and movies to observe voice work.

Additional Skills

I make people laugh with some of my character voices and expressions. I'm not afraid to let go and reach deep inside for the life of a character to emerge. I don't care about looking silly. People are surprised at voices that can come out of me. I have a good memory for sound and also react well working with others. I'm easy going and fun in a production situation and I have good input and ideas.
Even though I do produce/direct, I can be produced/directed.
I'm very good at reading to children/people and doing voices for the different characters in the stories.
I can often copy what I hear them do with their voices.
I write feature stories, interviews, short stories, poetry and am working on a book. I'm a prolific award-winning songwriter.
