Voice Description

My natural spoken voice is a deeper, sultry tone, and I can run the range of emotions from playful to professional, from erotic to dramatic.

I have done characterizations using much higher and lower pitches, from adolescents to some male-sounding voices.

I can do Southern accents, and inflections with a New York/New Jersey/Philadelphia dialect. I have also done Spanish/Latino, British, and Australian accents, and have a good enough ear to emulate other accents, with some prep time and practice.

My Voice Experience

I've been an on-air personality for an entertainment news show on Sirius-XM Radio, and for several other FarPoint Media programs. I have experience voicing commercials for and doing live reads on our shows, and have done promo spots for a number of other genre podcasts.

I have a role as a recurring character voice in "Voices of Babylon", a fan-produced audio drama podcast set in the Babylon 5 universe, have performed story readings for Starship Sofa and Cast Macabre, and am in pre-production on a new paranormal thriller audio drama.

I've also recorded the automated attendant for client phone systems.

My Training

My training comes from an ever-increasing amount of behind-the-mic experience reading scripted news, and conducting interviews. That experience is enhanced by my previous experience as a member of a concert choir, and my continuing experience as a writer/producer.
