My Voice Experience

I'm an English as a second language teacher, so in a way, I spend every day trying to convey meaning through the tone and feeling of my voice, doing impressions to give vivid and entertaining examples, reading poetry aloud and telling stories. I'm also surrounded by different accents, and I'm an excellent mimic - if I hear an accent for a few minutes, I can usually imitate it. I've taken drama courses and had roles in radio drama dialogues.

My Training

Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature, minoring in Linguistics and Latin American Studies.

Drama class through Vancouver School Board (22 hours)

Lead vocalist in a jazz band, 2004 - 2006
