Voice Description

I have a baritone voice that has just enough accent to make it charming but not enough to sound like a rube . . . unless you need a rube. I can also squelch my accent if needed. I do enjoy doing character voices especially those with outrageous voices.

Southern accent, non-accented, some UK accents (British, Scottish Highland, and mild Irish) as well as a pretty good Arabic accent.

My Voice Experience

I started doing some voiceocer work while producing an Internet cooking show. I have a couple of sponsers who I did voiceover work for on their commercials for the show and I also have voiceover scenes in the show itself. I have also hosted a cooking podcast at switchpod.com.

My Training

I attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in music, but I also received a scholarship there in drama.

My Studio Equipment

Just a home computer with $7 microphone, but I am looking to upgrade.

Additional Skills

I am a chef and food writer so I am very familiar with culinary terms and ingredients. I am also a classically trained musician who has also performed rock and jazz from New Orleans to Nashville to Orlando so I am quite familiar with the music industry as well.
