My Voice Experience

I'm recently known for voicing the much-talked about ad campaign for Summer's Eve and their talking vaginas. .Also recently, I have voiced spots for Pier 1, Target and Little Ceasar's. I do the animated voices and narration voices behind Story Time for Me, an online children's book club. I also do the voices and narration of an animated summer program teaching kids in South Korea how to speak English, as well as overseas debate programs. I am also one of the former voices of the local news NBC affiliate in Missouri, where I would voice the news over video. I am also a former news radio reporter for KBIA Radio. I am the voice of an award-winning website on recycling, and I also voice a weekly podcast, "Dead of Night Radio". I have recorded spots for Forever 21,My FM radio stations, T Lofts apartments, online book trailers, a poetry book, voicemail for U.S. Immigration, a DVD historical documentary, "Legacy of a Lynching.", and more! I also voice audiobooks for Action Audio. I'm currently recording the voice for a videogame about crazy chickens!

My Training

I have studied both commercial and animation with Cynthia Sonje, using the Susan Blu technique. I have also taken classes in voice and articulation at the University of Missouri. I have a Bachelors of Journalism from the University of Missouri, with a minor in drama. I have studied acting for many years, both on-camera and off-camera.

My Studio Equipment

I have a Blue Snowball microphone and the Audacity program, as well as Garage Band. I can record from home, and produce a lightning-fast turnaround for projects. I love this art, so I will keep at it until the read is perfect. And I do it fast.

Additional Skills

I am able to take tricky copy and make it sound conversational. I am also very, very directable. I can bring vibrant energy to each and every read, no matter how many times in a row I've read the copy. I'm young, and I bring a youthful, hip, edgy vibe to the table. I'm fast, and I'm good at working with others to come up with the EXACT read and character needed. I devote ample time to getting a recording back to my employers right away- even same-day most of the time. I'm hard-working, dedicated, and because this is more fun than work to me, I will tweak and polish until I produce something AMAZING. And I'm buckets of fun to work with, too!
