Voice Description

My voice as I would describe it, is very rich and soothing and clear. I feel it would be very appropiate and useful for narrations or commercials that need a 'soothing'or more 'relaxing' tone. There is much variation in my tone so I can also render such implied emotions as serious or dramatic, excited and intense, joyful and spirited. My voice would do well in the fields of presentation also because I have many years doing public reading and public speaking, so with time I have adapted the ability to maintain a very 'constant and clear' tone which is beneficial for rendering instructions and directions. But I enjoy projects that are a challenge, so I am open to anything.

In the Genre of American and English I can perform: Southern, Southern Black Guy, Southern Black Lady, Southern White Guy, REALLY Southern White Guy (in the range of Jeff Foxworthy 'redneck' tone), Old Wise Southern Black Elder, New York born Italian, New Yorker- Black Guy, New Yorker-White Guy, A VERY good New Orleans accent, Old British Investigator, British Gentlemen, Scottish, An English speaking Frenchmen, Borat (from the movie...lol), Jamaican/Carribean, Micky (off of Rocky), Sinister Villain.
Spanish: Neutral Spanish, North Mexican exagerated, Puerto Rican, Venezuelan.
I also have the ability to 'mimic' most voices over time, so with a little time I can duplicate nearly any voice in my range in tone....so the list is expanding little by little.

My Voice Experience

My experience in Voice Over production mainly stems from my experience as a music producer. Recording and Producing vocal tracks require the ability to hear tone and the ability to render it as needed. I have 4 years experience producing music and doing vocal coaching. This experience has allowed me to develop the ability to hear what is 'missing', recognize it, and create it. My voice has been used mainly in more musical applications, but I am eager to expand as oppurtunities present themselves.

My Training

I have had specific training in the areas of public speaking, public reading and teaching. These classes focus on capturing audience attention, and conveying thougths in a clear, logical and progressive way. I am now currently participating in this school in Spanish.
