Voice Description
I tend to have a soft, warm, calming, welcoming voice. I have been a radio disc jockey in San Francisco and Hawaii. I have written many 30-second spots for radio and television. I have done many voiceovers back in the 80s and 90s. I have done a few over the last few years but would really like to do more again. I can be versatile with my voice by using some ASian-Pacific (i.e. Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Hawaiian accents).

My Voice Experience
I have worked for KHNL-TV and two radio stations in Honolulu during the 80s and 90s, KFRC Radio and KITS-FM in San Francisco i the 80s. Lately, I have been doing voiceovers for Mater Dei Catholic Parish inn Chula Vista. I have also done SAG extra work since the 1990s. As an extra, I have done body doubles and other jobs for Magnum P.I., Silk Stalkings, LA Doctors and Pensacola WIngs of Gold. I also did a national television commercial for Toyota Motors a year or so ago.
I enjoy doing 15-second and 30-second spots. I did a narration for Mater Dei recently. I enjoy narrating as I do voiceovers. It is what I want to do now and into my golden years. I cannot see myself ever retiring from voiceovers.
My Training
I started at Columbia School of broadcasting in Honolulu (1980). I have radio, advertising campaign and copywriting training from the University of Hawaii (AA degree 1983). I have a Bachelors degree in Broadcast Communications from San Francisco State University (1985). I have a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management (leadership) from the University of Phoenix (1999). I lead 60 lectors at Mater Dei Catholic Parish. I train them to use their voices as lectors (broadcast skills). I have written and copyrighted over a dozen songs. I have also written stories for nonprofit, local and ethnic papers over the years. I have been a keynote speaker at a few college events. I have also delivered a speech on board the USS Louisiana to 2,000 military men and women during Asian Pacific Heritage Month several years ago.
My Studio Equipment
I only have a laptop computer (Dell). I would LOVE to eventually build my own home studio.
Additional Skills
My full time career is a Bank Manager for US Bank. I enjoy it but my first love is dressing casually and comfortably and using my voice.
