My 'go-to' voice has a smooth base to it, a deep, resonant, smoky sound that I use for professional purposes - narrations, corporate work etc..

I can also run a wide variety of accents and pitches for commercials and audiobooks and character work.

Commercials run from sexy and flirty to casual and conversational to fun and fast and high energy.

I use character voices from very working class - cockney through to upper class and royalty. And use many regional British accents.

Through audiobooks I have played teenage boys and girls all the way up through to elderly men and women. Soft and hard characters, good and evil.

I also work in standard American.

My Voice Experience

My work has run the entire spectrum of VO.
I have worked on commercials for the likes of Microsoft, Samsung and other big brands.
I have voiced corporate gigs and documentaries.
I have a big presence in the Audiobook scene - have recorded for Random House & Blackstone, Penguin & Harper Collins.
As well as Video Games. I recently voiced one of the leads for an international game based on a best selling Manga comic and Japanese TV series. (Unable to disclose title until it is released later in 2011).

My Training

Acting scholarship for 1 year to The Academy Drama School in London.

3 Years at a top London Drama School - Arts Educational (Andrew Lloyd Webber's School).
There I trained in all aspects of acting as well as singing, voice, speech - including phonetics and accents.

My Studio Equipment

I have a Neumann TLM 103 at home and use Logic software for editing on my Macpro.

Additional Skills

I have a full classical training in acting and theatre.
This included 3 years of work in Speech and Voice which covered everything including accents and phonetics.

Since then I have worked in top London Theatre productions - I was one of the leads in Mamma Mia, TV - I have had roles in big TV series both in the UK and US, Film - over 15 features, many international releases, Commercials - over 40 campaigns and of course Voice - I have run the total spectrum here, corporate to commercial to audiobooks to video games.

The all around experience I have in all mediums has been invaluable in my voice career. It gives me versatility as well as great technic and a full understanding of my voice and how it works and how to get the best out of it.
