My Voice Experience

I've worked in major market radio doing lots and lots of spot announcements. I've also done voice overs for industrial projects, web media, and many, many in-store and on-hold messages for Muzak and PlayNetwork.

My Training

I studied Communications at the University of Washington in Seattle and spent several years as an on-air radio talent. I later got involved with two commercial music companies and voiced many projects for them over a period of 20+ years. In addition, I have an acting background and my wife owns and operates a talent agency.

My Studio Equipment

You don't need much to lay down voice tracks these days. I have an ElectoVoice RE/27 microphone with a MicPort Pro USB preamp that allows me to voice straight to hard drive. I use Cool Edit Pro to record and mix tracks, and I listen back on Tannoy professional studio monitors.
