Voice Description

My voice is a deep rich male voice that has a wide range of pitch and depth. I can be smooth and even for narrations as well as very energetic and up-beat for commercial work. I specialize in warmth and also have several excellent accents, including three English accents ("BBC", London, and Liverpool) as well as Scottish and Irish. I also can speak English with a German or French accent. On the American side, I can do the classic New York as well as Northern New England. I have a more than passible Texan accent, also. As far as characters go, I do a indistuishable "Marvin the Martian" and a very good Hannibal Lecter, Bill Clinton, and also "Fire Marshall Bill." I am very good a picking up character voices so if you have one in my range, I can give you a good take.

My Voice Experience

I have done many narration jobs for theatre and have also recorded the V.O. track for in house videos at several places I have worked. I have been asked to record several humorous greetings on answering machines, too. I was also a back-up vocalist for Lionheart Productions at Soundcheck Studios in Ft. Myers, FL.

My Training

Most of my training for recording work was outside of formal schooling, but I was a Vocal Minor at Stetson University, School of Music. I attended Stetson from 1987-1991. I have received much more experience from various theatre groups as well as a one man show that I put on for the awards ceremony of a charity convention for the last 10 years.
