My Voice Experience
The past two years The graphics department at the newspaper I work for (South-Florida Sun-Sentinel) and I have published a weekly offbeat analysis of the Miami Dolphins NFL team. I have written the script and voiced the entire project. After the midpoint of the 2004 season, I started adding celebrity voices into the mix. Mind you, these cripts were written the night of the game in question and the project was posted by Monday at 4 p.m. An exceptionally quick turnaround. Last June, the project beat out the entire online operation of the New York Times and the Toronto Globe and Mail to win the Editor&Publisher EPpy Award for the Best Use of Rich Media among sites getting at least 1 million visitors.
