Voice Description

I have a broad range voice, primarily baritone but expanding from bass to tenor.

My repertoire of accented english includes American regional (midwest, north east, southern, educated or 'redneck" Canadian, northern Michigan/Minnesota/Wisconsin), British english (highly educated, working class or cockney), French, German, Russian, East European, Italian, Spanish Asian and many others.

I am able to present a voice that conveys a wide range of emotions for a variety of situations and settings.

I am able to project my voice, whether speaking or singing, to the back of any theater. This translates into an expanded ability in the tone and flexibility for technicians in manipulating my voice.

My Voice Experience

I have extensive theater experience including comedies, dramas, musicals and Shakespeare.

I have had lead and principle roles in "Lend Me a Tenor" (Tito Mirrelli), "Escanaba in da Moonlight" (Reuben Soady) and "The Hobbit" (Thorin the Dwarf). I have also had supporting roles in "Rebecca", "Murder by Natural Causes", "Romeo and Juliet" and singing and acting roles in "Camelot" and "Fiddler on the Roof"

I have also recored several roles for "CBH Ministries".

My Training

My voice experience has come "on-the job". I have had a variety of roles requiring specific accents, portraying a wide range of characters.
