My Voice Experience

I started studying voiceover full time 4 years ago and approached this career with the same alacrity and tenacity as I successfully did in my former one, working as a member of senior management for a multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 company with several thousand employeees in a creative field.

I have recorded industrial narrations, training films, and professional phone message systems.

I also volunteer twice weekly at the Braille Institute recording audio books for the blind.

My Training

My formal college education includes a BA in Psychology and an MBA from Ohio State University.

During the past four years of full time voiceover training, I have taken several classes in acting, improv, music, speech, commercial voiceover, narration, promos and trailers. In addition to a current class schedule, I am simultaneously studying with 2 private coaches weekly.

I have extensive knowlege and interests in the world around me. I have had the opportunity to travel in 46 of the 50 states, and have been to many foreign countries including, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Africa, Australia, Tahiti, South America, Japan and Korea.

My Studio Equipment

I have a newly built professional recording studio with ISDN at my home. I am utilizing a Sennheiser 416 mic, and Mackie Onyx 1220-12 Channel Mixer.

Additional Skills

I have successfully managed, trained and developed hundreds of executives in a former career. This takes a positive attitude, knowledge, intuition, people skills, focus, energy, organization, communication, and follow-through in conjunction with having a great personality and drive.

These same attributes apply to voiceover or any other industry as well.

I lead a very active life, staying physically fit by attending the gym 3-4 times weekly and playing tennis in a league twice a week. I also ski in the winter.
