My Voice Experience

Steve is a Chicago area voice over actor who's style has the versatility to create just the right emotion and mood your job requires. This is reflected in his voice over demos that have received fantastic reaction. This emotional versatility is also reflected in the work he has done for various clients.

His talent is focused on customer satisfaction and is willing to work with the client to achieve their desired results.

Steve has a private studio to record and edit your work and can provide the voice file to the production company of your choice.

My Training

Steve continued his education by completing training with Such A Voice. He also receives industry news letters and participates in regular coaching and training sessions focusing on technique. His training also includes influential and public speaking. He also conducts training classes for construction planning and cost control. Steve has taken various business and technical writing training, journalism and he wrote for the high school newspaper.

My Studio Equipment

Steve's private studio is soundproofed with 2" foam and is based around Digidesigns M-Box2 and ProTools 8LE. The microphone utilized is an Audio Technica large diaphgram condenser style. This is fed through a Focusrite ISA 100 pre-amp to utilize the full range of the Audio Technica mic. This is all controlled through a laptop with a DVD burner, 20" HD monitor and individually powered audio monitors.

Additional Skills

Steve believes in continuous learning to always work on and improve his voice over technique and skills. This includes regular one on one coaching sessions with James Alburger.Steve's previous training in public and influential speaking has made an excellent base for his voice over career. The training classes he has given in construction planning and cost control have also assisted in developing his voice over technique. His computer skills have also helped in utilizing the MBox2 and ProTools 8LE for V/O work.
