Voice Description

Strong powerful male baritone with a lot of flexibility. I have always have had a pleasing and recognizable voice. Singing is my hobby and it has helped me in projection, diction and vocal variety. I have a put together a Jazz Vocal Group that has helped me to become more flexible in the use of my voice and its presentation.

My Voice Experience

A graduate of the Telecommunications and Film from San Diego State University, my real favorite classes were in Radio productions. I spent 5 years as an independent Advertising agent in Northern California with my own clients. I would do all the scripting, announcing and ad placement. Some of the radio ads required playing characters with comedic Radio Voices in comedic dramatic roles. I also voiced several public service announcements in the 1970's for the State of California.

My Training

With a BS degree from SDSU, I have had many years of college training, including time on-air experience on Campus radio stations. I also played several parts in a several productions. I also produced many custom Public Service Announcements and working in Television Programming for a year at Gillcable in San Jose, where I oversaw TV promos and other on-air content. I also can take a Neilsen and Arbitron rating book and it correctly understand it and what it means.

Additional Skills

With a multimedia background, I understand the balance and coordination of an advertising campaign. I know how to coordinate the use of TV, Radio and Print together to get great results. I can design an ad campaign and create several ads for the campaign. I also can sing and am part of several vocal groups including church choirs and will do so if required. I have created some jingles with familiar tunes for radio commercials.
