My Voice Experience
Through the 20+ years of my career as an actor, I have always heard "You have a great voice; you should go into voice over." It sounded like a great idea, but I felt if it was to happen, some how it would all by itself. With the change in global economy I needed to throw out a wider net and began studying the intricacies of successful voice over.
My Training
I'm no dummy, having graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. I work with a private coach, Dave Walsh, to help me define my voice print and interpret commercial copy. I volunteer with RFB&D (Recording for the Blind and Dyslexia) and have recorded countless hours of books on tape. I've been studying singing for several years with Virenia Lind, an accomplished member of the LA Opera, and have a 3-octave range. I perform stand up comedy in the LA and Las Vegas areas and continue or appear in musical theater, straight play and cinematic productions.
My Studio Equipment
I personally only have a Snowball, but have access to state-of-the-art sound recording equipment.
Additional Skills
I am also a trained chef with private clients.
