My Voice Over career began in Portland, Oregon, in the late 90's. I did work for regional corporate videos and documentaries, as well as PSA's, then for national clients including Qwest Communications and ESPN. I continued my video and voice work after coming to Japan in 2002, recording in studios in Nagoya and Osaka for many well known Japanese companies, as well as from my home studio for clients the world over. Check out my website for more details of clients and experience.
I have been able to learn the craft and work with a variety of sound engineers and talent directors, with much of my training coming from on the job experience and self-study, continuing to the present and into the future. Never stop learning.
Neumann TLM103 mic, using Adobe Audition CS6 on a 27" iMac with a Focusrite Preamp. I record in a Whisper Room sound booth with Auralex sound foam and Sonorite bass traps from floor to celiing.
Lots of sound effects libraries and music choices, from the highest end (APM) to the most affordable.
In Portland, for many years I worked in the film and video industry, as a production coordinator and video producer. Was Creative Director at Winery Productions in Japan from 2011 to 2014.
