My Voice Experience

My Voice Over career began in Portland, Oregon, (U.S.A.) in the late 90's. I did VO work for regional corporate videos and documentaries, as well as PSA's, then for national clients including Qwest Communications and ESPN. All of my previous work has been recorded in studios in Portland. Starting in 2007, my voice over work will be in Tokyo and at my home studio.

My Training

My mentor was a popular Portland voice talent by the name of Matt Dragon. Through his guidance, I was able to learn the craft and work with a variety of sound engineers and talent directors. Much of my training had come in the form of on the job experience and self-study, continuing to the present.

My Studio Equipment

Mac G4 Powerbook, Mackie Onyx Satellite Preamp, Rode NTK mic, using Bias Peak LE6 software, Sony Pro Studio headphones and K&M popkiller.

Additional Skills

In Portland, for many years I worked in the film and video industry, as a production coordinator and video producer. I understand client's needs and the expectations they have.

I also have done some theatrical acting, including a leading role in a large-scale English production of Macbeth in Nagoya, Japan.
