Fresh British Male voice, articulate, clear, gentle and smooth. Calm and reassuring. Harsh and authorative if needed.

Warm for narrations, clear and articulate for technical and corporate, E-Learning and training. Have a flair for reading Technical without getting very tongue-twisted!

Can be sexy and throaty for some commercials
Can be hard and brassy for hard sells.
Can be utterly nutty for insane promotions!

My normal accent is generally neutral.

Other voices I like doing include posh, Chumley Warner style voices, some gruff, rough and ready characters, as well as some 'over-the-top 'upper crust' ones!

I know Cornish dialect well, having lived there for 32 years. Can do these if needed.

My Voice Experience

I have a keen interest in doing different styles of voices.

Being able to lift characters and build on them when reading stories is greatly rewarding.

Many different and fun actors have influenced my style. Kenneth Williams (though I can't do him I loved the style!), Kenny Everrett, Dick Dastardly (Aka Paul Winchell), John Clease, Peter Sellers (Inspector Jack Cleuso, and Drefuse (Herbert Lom). Even people I've worked with have had great voices and have been mimicked to some degree or other!

My Training

I have completed a Voice Over Master Class with Gary Terzza. A really fun filled, useful day!

Other training included 'O' level Drama with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music and Drama whilst attending College when I was 17!.

I learned human biology, so enjoy aspects of understanding the human body, and have an interest in medical and health related subjects, which help me to read some very complex technical details!

I love reading aloud, used to take part in plays when I had half a chance, and using my voice to encourage people to be more confident with themselves and their development.

Lots of reading and immitating!

I sang in a choir as a tenor while I lived in Cornwall.
