My Voice Experience
My first "hey I can get paid for this" VO was for a place called Northern Tire and Wheel in Modesto California. A SCREAMER!! By the way I almost got a cardboard sign that said "will voice for tires" cause that is how I got paid. After that it was game on, California Milk Advisory Board, Northern California Chevy Dealers, U.S. Army, (I served in the Air Force) Time Warner, Prolong Infomercials, Black Ice Golf infomercials, Gyro 7 Golf infomercials, Cubby To The Rescue (Childrens Book Narration All voices) Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, and car dealers all over the country. Imaging for a handful of radio and television stations.
My Training
I spent 30 plus years in radio teaching myself the art of voice over, both on the commercial side and on the imaging side. Fortunately I hired one of the best VO guys on the late 70's and early 80's and learned a lot from him.
My Studio Equipment
I have a Mackie Onyx, Adobe Audition software, Sure KM32 condenser mic, Symetrix 528e Voice Processor, KRK Rockit 5 monitors and JBL 4208 monitors.
Additional Skills
I have been told I am one of the easiest VO people to work with, rip and read not in my repertoire do it til it is right. I do have a little community theater under my belt which helps get into my reads.
