Voice Description
Northern Irish voiceover with a softer edge than usual, and a hint of Scottish. A sexy and intelligent baritone, ideal for documentary narrations, and commercials requiring a sophisticated sell.

My Voice Experience
recently specialising in audiobook reading, most recently two bestsellers by Irish authors: Orpheus Rising, by Colin Batemen, for White House Sound, and Whitethorn Woods, by Maeve Binchy.
Concise Oxford Dictionary (9th edition): one of the four readers on the cd-rom from the most prestigious English language dictionary publisher.
Many voiceovers including a major campaign for Beamish beer (1997).
My Training
Trained as an actor at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London) graduating from the three-year acting course in 1995, leading to substantial experience on the London stage, the highlights: national and world tours with the RSC (Royal Shakespeare Company).
I have an English degree from Edinburgh University: not directly relevant to the industry, but, like everything in life, it seasons the personality and the voice, and in my case has given, along with my move from Ireland to Scotland, to the South of England, a unique quality to my accent, which, though recognisably Northern Irish, gives it a strikingly original quality.
