Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can perform in nearly every American dialect, having lived in much of the country, including a Native American accent. I can also do English in the following accents; Canadian, Latin, several British dialects (cockney, London, etc.), Australian, Irish, Scottish, French, Slavic, and Central Asia (India and Pakistan).

My Voice Experience

I've done jobs ranging from VO for television, to characters for radio PSAs, to reading the news for SunSounds Radio for the Print Handicapped. I've also been on a weekly radio show where a friend of mine and I talk about cooking. I'm a pilot, so I know how to annunciate, and I'm good with pronounciations of technical words. I'm an on-camera and stage actor as well, so I can take direction and am willing to move around within the dialogue and character to give you the best possible read in the shortest time possible.

Oh, and I can do oral sound effects (think dogs, cats, horses, birds, cars, trains, planes, creaky doors, etc.)

My Training

I have a degree in English Literature, which I use extensively in my flight training. I am a Certified Flight Instructor. I've also trained with such voice greats as Kat Cressida and Nick Omana, and have had regular training with Tonya Rogers, formerly of Tisherman in LA. I've also taken numerous acting seminars and sessions, as well as comedy training with comedy legend Tony Vicich.

My Studio Equipment

My own equipment is a single microphone hooked to a USB-pre-amp and recording software.

Additional Skills

I can read, speak and write English, and I'm able to do Spanish reads as well. (I did the Spanish language track for a character in an independant film, under direction.) I can fly, ride a horse, and change a diaper. I have lived all over the U.S. and visited Europe and Latin America. I own and can work with (and imitate) animals. I love doing voice work.
