For educational work, I call upon my experience as a teacher of children and adults as befits the audience.

For audiobooks, I have a clear defined narrative style that is smooth and comfortable for storytelling. I can delineate various characters from small child to aged adults, male and female, so that the listener can follow the various characters with ease in the story.

My Voice Experience

My voice over work began many years ago while in college where I did a series of educational tapes for the classroom....spelling series. (Weeks of working in the studio on that job and I still have trouble spelling). Intermittently I have returned to the studio for television commercials for local television and radio.

HOwever, my voice over work was placed on hold for many years as I got very busy in my stage and film/tv career. It has only been recently that I have returned to working in the voice over field. I worked with Alice Whitfield to prepare to return to the field back in 2000.

Currently, I am doing a series of children's books for Guess Who Multimedia which involve singing and narration. The series focuses on cultural education for children 5-8.

My Training

BFA in Theater from the College of Santa Fe. I previously studied voice and theater at Oklahoma City University.

I worked with Stella Adler, Anna Strasberg and Kim Stanley as my acting mentors. Also have studied musical theater with Betty Garrett and Opera with Jane Paul.

My voice over work was with Alice Whitfield of Real to Reel back in 2000.

I have spent over 35 years as a professional actor and am a proud member of Actors Equity, SAG and AGVA (Variety).

My Studio Equipment

I have a home studio equipped with an Rode NT1000 microphone and a dbx 286A mic preamp/processor. I use a Creative Sound Card and Sound Forge software on an HP Slimline computer.
