Voice Description
I have a deeper, resonant and easy voice that registers well with the 25-54 female demo of my current station and have been utilized in my radio career for countless commercial reads. The everyday guy, comfortable read is a strong one and is the most requested by sales staff and clients. I have done the more wry, "sarcastic" read, often am the "announcer," been the excitable voice and the sexy one as well.

English, Irish, exaggerated characterizations like Triumph the insult comic dog. I am completely unafraid to try anything that might be needed to make a voice over work.
My Voice Experience
Over the years in radio I have always been one of the most requested voices of the sales staff and clients. There is an easy and comfortable nature to my voice that appeals to the clients. I have most recently been doing personal endorsement reads for the Bonefish Grill that have been received well and that is because they sound genuine.
My Training
I started in radio at Waynesburg College and continued while working on my masters at West Virginia University, a school with a very well respected college station then and now. There are a great number of people that have moved on from WVU to work in the industry from radio, to production houses, to television and more. In my undergraduate days I was in numerous stage productions that included everything from the chorus to leading roles and I was always a member of my different schools newspaper staffs writing everything from movie reviews to humor columns. I've always loved best the columns and still write them for the blog at my current station though too infrequent for my tastes with a lack of time. Imaging has also been one of my strengths at the many stops in my radio career and I'm aware of "what works."
My Studio Equipment
I currently have access to the production studios at the station I work for now and we use, to the greatest extent, Adobe Audition which I also have at home for editing. I can easily record production parts, including beds and other effects and then bring them or email them home for final editing.
