Voice Description
Ah well what can I say - my voice is varied depending on what is required. I have worked for local charity radio doing advertising for years (with some really cheesy scripts!) I have found myself talking to myself in strange and wonderful voices and accents and skits as well as taking on the more serious role of getting the message across. I perform on stage in amateur musicals and drama since the age of 13 and have gained nearly 25 years experience in the field. A lot of my voice work comes out of reading the script and offering alternatives as it works through my mind - I specialise in characters and accents (I hope that most of my non british accents cause minmal offence. This also comes about thanks to my directing of drama and shows - I can sometimes see "beyond the script". My voice can be deep or high, happy or sad (or morose) quick or fast, it can be smooth and sexy (so I am told) - as an actor I can adapt to most things - but when I can't I am honest and say so. A posh English accent is one of my specialties - and deep "galsga" can be provided. My ability to mimic radio/tv/movies is also well polished - I like to pretend!
