Voice Description
My voice is often described as youthful, fresh, upbeat, and crystal clear. My sound is quintessentially warm and energetic, and I bring my own unique brand of fun, quirky creativity to any project.
My commercial reads range from the whimsical, playful innocence of kid-friendly announcers, to the compassionate, reassuring, and sincere warmth of healthcare, to the bright, sassy, and hip energy of retail.
My animation, video game, and advertising characters include a variety of little girls and boys (bratty or sweet), your classic headstrong female heroine, the sophisticated femme fatale, the eager cadet, computer voices, gossipy next door neighbors, naggy housewives, the starry-eyed honeymooner, the youthful soccer mom, the new-age therapist, the naive, self-absorbed reporter, the mousy and self-conscious office worker, the petulant teenager, the brainy student, and your all-around everyday gal.
My narration reads bring intelligence, passion, and conversational knowledge to corporate industrials, understated mystery and wonder to museum audio tours, and friendly and approachable assistance to IVRs. Whatever the project, I can paint a fun, entertaining and visually strong picture that makes for great storytelling.
My delivery has been compared to that of Sarah Jessica Parker.

My Voice Experience
I have been acting far longer than I've ever given myself credit. When I was a teenager, I would handwrite the equivalent of a voice-over script just to leave a message on some cute guy's answering machine and not come off as a bumbling fool. When I was in college, I successfully conned my way out of a Japanese class by presenting a compelling sob story to a university therapist just to obtain a "doctor's note" in order to drop the class penalty-free. (And yes, there were tears. ^_~) I was also in drama and choir in High School and a member of the Performing Arts Society of Contra Costa, but that's not nearly as interesting as the other stuff.
Represented by STARS the Agency in San Francisco.
My Training
I have been training as a voiceover actor for almost 3 years at Voicetrax, San Francisco where I have been continually honing techniques associated with commercials, animation, narration, dialogue, script analysis, and self-direction. I have also taken on-camera and voice over classes at Voice One in San Francisco.
I have had the honor of learning from some of the greatest voiceover instructors in the business, including Samantha Paris, Thom Pinto, Cynthia Songé, Bob Bergen (Porky Pig), Pat Fraley, Maddy Bascom, Elaine Clark, Terry McGovern, and Ned Lott (Disney Character Voices).
Additionally, I have over two years of private voice coaching in classical, operatic, and musical theater.

I have worked in Creative Services in the Entertainment industry designing video game packaging, Pokémon animation DVDs, marketing collateral, and advertisements for over 6 years.
I am a gamer, and my Microsoft Xbox live Gamertag is "Jenevieve." I love my 360, Nintendo DS lite, the Sony PSP, and the PS3. I would love the Wii long time if I could only locate one. :(
I love singing. I am a first Soprano, and my favorite genre is Showtunes because it involves a degree of acting.
