My Voice Experience

For nearly a decade, I was the voice of both the phone registration systems and message on hold systems for a college in West Central Florida (St. Petersburg College). I did well at "cold" readings and it was rare that I had to do second-takes for readings.

In addition, as a reading tutor, I've gained experience in doing character voices in order to keep my young charges' attention.

My Training

Much of my voice over training was through on-the-job experience at my full-time job at St. Petersburg College in Florida. I also trained and made a demo CD through Dan Levine's Such a Voice program.

I have a bachelor's degree in journalism, and my full-time job is serving as a writer/copy editor for St. Petersburg College.
