Voice Description

I have been told by people that my voice is very distinct, and can be picked out from a crowd of people. I can use my voice for narrations, which I know that I am good at. When reading a story to my daughter, I do different voices, depending on the story. I can also use my voice to be funny or professional. I have the ability to make my voice sound like a child or a teenager. I love doing presentations and reading aloud. I am a Jamaican by birth, and so I can speak Jamaican if the need arises.

My Voice Experience

My experience involves reading to my daughter and doing different voice imitations from the story. I become the character both in sound and speech to give them a life of their own. I also worked at Pro Health Ultra as a receptionist,where I had to have a personal voicemail greeting.

My Training

I did a transcription class at Orchard View Community Education, which was part of a Legal Assistant course. I have an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, from Grand Rapids Community College in Michigan. I also use Dragon Naturally Speaking to type.
