Voice Description

My voice, like my taste is very eclectic. I am able to do British accents, elder voices, nasal voices, and have several other voiceover talents. As an aspiring singer, I am equipped for jingles, songs, commercials, radio, and other musically-inclined voices. I am interested in working with TV/Radio such as radio station and TV commercial voices/jingles/voiceovers.

My Voice Experience

I am new to this field. I am interested in breaking into the business because I am an aspiring singer. However, I am confident that although I have never done this before, I am able to deliver what is asked of me.

My Training

I actually do not have a degree in anything realting to television, music, performing arts, etc. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work, however I have always been very much into music of all kinds. Throughout my schooling, from gradeschool through college, I have always been a member of several choirs, many of which received superior ratings in NYSSMA Music Competitions. I have also received individual ratings just as high with the same traveling companies. To date, I am an aspiring singer and have done some light work in studio's. I first heard about voiceovers while searching the internet for auditioning for commercial jingles or opening theme songs for television shows. In my searches, I came across a member of Voice123 who recommended I sign up to get my foot in the door. Like the determined individual I am, I gladly took her advice...and here I am...hoping for the best! Although I have not gone to school to learn these things, I am a very eager person who is willing to learn and has excellent interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills

I am very well at harmonizing and creating rhymes, songs, raps, etc. My deep, fluid sarcastic streak allows me to often bring much-needed humor to any situation, voice-over or not. I am very skillful with going in and out of voices quickly and steadily, and am also skilled in going from a speaking voice to a singing voice. Further, I have a wide vocal range, and an ability to match notes on key and match artists almost perfectly which allows me to stay in tune with songs and in key. I am also very well at working accapella and with ballad-type material.
